Exhibition of the Project Künstlerbrille
The exhibition KUNST KANN was held as a part of the EU Erasmus+ Project Künstlerbrille (Arstists' Glasses), initiated and led by Dagmar Frick-Islitzer from Kubus Kulturvermittlung in Balzers, Liechtenstein. As a participating artist, I presented my new work ''Children of the Earth''. The strength of the exhibition was laid in the educational value of the arts, which was highlighted in the twelve learning stations where visitors could try out artistic practices and experience them for themselves. Along with these twelve stations, twelve artworks, twelve video excerpts from interviews with the participating artists were displayed. Goal of the Exhibition
The exhibition was designed to be a platform for mediation and learning. It let the participating artists describe how they approach their work, how they control their artistic processes, what role openness, curiosity and perception, playfulness and improvisation, courage and risk-taking, communication and collaboration play, how they deal with surprise, crises and moments of failure, what success means to them. It is about attitudes, artistic qualities, attitudes, ways of working. This provides visitors with insights and impulses on how to think around corners and thus expand their personal scope of action.
